Katharina Hauck successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Challenges of the organic wine sector - a value chain analysis of organic wine in Germany" on April 22, 2024 at Hochschule Geisenheim University.
Her Doctorate was carried out within the framework of the Doctoral Platform Geisenheim - Giessen – Marburg in cooperation with the Faculty 09 - Agricultural Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Environmental Management and jointly supervised by Prof. Dr. Gergely Szolnoki, Hochschule Geisenheim University, Germany and Prof. Dr. Roland Herrmann, Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany.
Her thesis has been evaluated by Prof. Dr. Gergely Szolnoki in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Roland Herrmann and Prof. Dr. Roberta Capitello, Universitá di Verona, Italy

Ihr Promotionsverfahren wurde über die Promotionsplattform Geisenheim-Gießen-Marburg koordiniert, mit dem Fachbereich 09 Agrarwissenschaften, Ökotrophologie und Umweltmanagement durchgeführt und gemeinsam von Prof. Dr. Gergely Szolnoki, Hochschule Geisenheim University und Prof. i.R. Dr. Roland Herrmann, Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen betreut.
