After the official objection period for the election of the Vice President Research has expired on June 3, 2020, I would like to inform you about the final election result. As chairwoman of the election board, I announce that Prof. Dr. Annette Reineke was elected as Vice President Research on May 19, 2020 for a second term of another 3 years and has accepted the election. The second term of office of Prof. Dr. Annette Reineke starts on September 1st, 2020.

The Vice President of Research at Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences is elected during an election session of the Extended Senate. The election is secret and is carried out as an urn election.
