PlaCES – Improving landscape Planning and design with Cultural Ecosystem Services in HEIs develops an innovative teaching-learning method to integrate the analysis, assessment and enhancement of Cultural Ecosystem Services(CES) within design, planning, and conservation disciplines. It combines topics to build students’
capacities to define strategies dealing with cultural and natural values by sharing and co-creating knowledge with
stakeholders in a real-world setting. PlaCES teaching-learning activities will establish a novel HEI approach, promoting transnational collaboration to enhance landscape planning and design with CES during the ecological transition. We'll launch a methodology, a Common Sharing Platform, and an e-learning course to facilitate CES integration within landscape faculties. These resources aim to increase awareness and capacity regarding the significance of CES for human well-being and to foster sustainable, resilient design.
