Sebastian Tück successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Simulation of the coffee roasting process" on November 20, 2025 at Hochschule Geisenheim University.

His Doctorate was supervised by Prof. Dr. Bernd Lindemann, Department of Food Safety, Hochschule Geisenheim University, Germany. 

His thesis has been evaluated by Prof. Dr. Bernd Lindemann in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Kai Michels, Institute of Automation Technology, University of Bremen and Prof. Dr. Matthias Frisch, Department of Agronomy and Plant Breeding II, Justus Liebig Universität Giessen, Germany.
