Anyone interested in a particular subject can be admitted as an auditing student (Gasthörer), assuming that you have the capacity and educational background to follow the lectures' content. We especially welcome people who are already in work but who want to expand their knowledge. Proof of a university entrance qualification according to § 61 Hessian Higher Education Act is not necessary.
To be admitted as an auditing student at Hochschule Geisenheim University in the winter semester 2025/26, you need to fill in the application and return it to the Admissions Office by the end of September 2025.
Check the semester timetable for classes you wish to attend and contact the teacher(s) for written approval. Enter the name of the class on the application and send the completed and signed form to the Admissions Office along with the teacher's written confirmation and proof that you have paid the auditing student fee. Please note: Auditing students will be admitted for one semester. You are allowed to attend the classes listed in your application but are not entitled to take any exams.
