Our dedicated HR team is the internal point of contact for any staffing-related matters. We provide support and advice on all questions relating to employment and payroll, based on the policies and guidelines of the Hessian State Administration. A close and trusting collaboration with all university departments is essential to us.
The HR Department splits into three sub-sections:
Our HR Services Team handles all administrative tasks, including application management, travel expenses, and time management.
Our HR Management Team provides service-oriented advice and support to all staff members on employment-related matters – from onboarding to contract renewal and, finally, termination. The team is also responsible for collecting and analyzing HR data for management purposes.
The HR Development Team handles a range of responsibilities, including individual career counseling, internal training, and apprenticeship programs in approximately 10 occupations.
Additionally, team members from all three sections are involved in various HR projects aimed at the department's continuous, forward-looking development (through digitalization, process optimization, etc.).
