The research and teaching activities in the Department of Fresh Produce Logistics cover a range of issues related to the purchasing, production, logistics, marketing and sales of food, beverages and horticultural products. The main focus of our research and teaching in almost all areas is the comprehensive study of the supply chain, from production right through to the customer.
Thanks to our department’s interdisciplinary team of logisticians, economists and agricultural scientists and a good cooperative network with the other departments at Hochschule Geisenheim University, we can offer research and teaching at the very highest quality.
