There are several steps to the application process:
Registration
Before you can enter any data, you must register in the online portal and set up an applicant account. To do this, click on the button ‘Jetzt registrieren’ (register now) and enter your personal information and a password. After registering, you will receive an e-mail containing an activation link for your account. You can only enter your data and continue your application onceyou have activated your account.
Please note: current Hochschule Geisenheim University students who want to switch to another degree program or apply for a master’s degree program also have to register in the online portal.
Application Process
As soon as you have completed your registration and logged in, you can start your application and enter all necessary data into the system. The portal will guide you through the individual fields that need to be filled out. You can prepare multiple applications, but can only submit up to three.
First, select your desired degree program. The portal will now allow you to create your application; a new screen will appear and the portal will guide you will through the online enrollment process. Please ensure you enter all of the required information.
Check your entries again before submitting and then send your application by clicking on ‘Erfassen von Immatrikulationsdaten abschließen und zurück zur Übersicht’. Your application has now been submitted and you can no longer make any changes to its content. The documents must now be sent by post to the Admissions Office at Hochschule Geisenheim University.
A submitted application can be withdrawn by clicking 'Antrag zurückziehen'. However, it is important to note that after you withdraw an application, you will no longer be able to submit another application for that degree program.
Sending the Application Documents by Post
In order for your application to be considered submitted and be processed, your documents need to be submitted through the online portal AND sent to Hochschule Geisenheim University's Admissions Office by post.
In the online portal, please click ‘Bewerbungsantrag ausdrucken’ or 'Antrag auf Immatrikulation drucken' to print out the PDF version of your application. You will need to sign this, combine it with the documents listed in the application and send it to the Admissions Office within the application period.
You will be informed of any changes to your application status by e-mail and via the online portal.
