On June 4, the university opened its doors to around 130 prospective students, who had the chance to learn about everything Hochschule Geisenheim University has to offer. The event focused especially on the practice-oriented degree programs, including those in the areas of wine and beverages, food safety, landscape architecture, and horticulture.

Visitors to the campus enjoyed fascinating insights into the university's diverse facilities during guided tours, which included stops at the research gardens, greenhouses, and the newly opened beverage technology center. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere created ample space for open conversations with lecturers, current students, and study advice officers – an ideal way for the guests to learn more about the contents of the degree programs, future employment prospects, and life on campus.

An dedicated team of Geisenheim students ensured guests weren't exploring the campus on an empty stomach: homemade ice cream crafted by Food Safety students and freshly roasted coffee from the Beverage Technology program both proved popular.

The next opportunity to learn more about Hochschule Geisenheim University's range of degree programs will be on August 30–31, at the Open Campus event.
