The President of Hochschule Geisenheim University invites you to celebrate your graduation in person at Schloss Johannisberg, Fürst von Metternich-Saal on August 27, 2021, followed by a reception in the park of Villa Monrepos (weather permitting)
Due to corona-related restrictions, the ceremony will be split into two parts according to degree program:
10:00 a.m. (doors open 9:00 - 9:45 a.m.):

We will use the video conferencing system Greenlight to host the Graduation Ceremony. Your families are invited to watch the ceremony via live stream on our homepage. As part of our press and PR activities, we will record the ceremony and publish it on our homepage afterwards. After the ceremony, a group photo (in line with distance reuqirements) will be taken in the courtyard in front of the Fürst von Metternich Hall.
The ceremony is followed by a reception in the park of Villa Monrepos (weather permitting), starting at 5 p.m. with the band Sheep Emely.
You and your guests must show proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test result. Please have the following information ready as you will be checked before entering the venue:
As we are required to track contact data, we kindly ask you to use the Luca app or a contact form to sign in at Schloss Johannisberg and at the reception in the Park of Villa Monrepos.
Wearing a mask is mandatory during the ceremony in Schloss Johannisberg, Fürst-Metternich-Saal, also when you are seated. Please follow the marked routes.
• Don't attend the ceremony if you show symptoms of a respiratory disease, e.g. a fever, cough or loss of taste and smell
• You must not attend the ceremony if your are required to self-isolate or quarantine
Presentation of certificates:
Please enter the stage from the left, your certificate will be laid out for you. As soon as the Head of the Degree Program keeps a minimum distance of 1.5 m, you are allowed to remove your mask to take a photo. Afterwards, please exit the stage from the right and return to your seat.
For taking a group photo without wearing masks a minimum distance of 1.5 m is required. Please follow the signs and markings on site.

How to travel from Schloss Johannisberg to Villa Monrepos Park:
Keep left, turn left at Cafehaus Moser, follow the road "Im Grund" as well as "Industriestraße". Via L3272 (left) to Chauvignystraße (right) on B42,
exit Geisenheim-West. At the traffic circle take the first exit. Parking lot after 300 m on the left side.
