Michael Kramer successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled “Disruptive technologies in supply chain networks: implications on cooperation and coordination in digital ecosystems of the wine industry” on November 10, 2025, at Hochschule Geisenheim University.
His doctorate was jointly supervised by Professor Jon H. Hanf of the Department of Wine and Beverage Business at Hochschule Geisenheim University and Professor Rainer Kühl of the Agricultural Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Environmental Management faculty at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
His thesis was evaluated by Professor Jon H. Hanf in collaboration with Professor Rainer Kühl and Professor Mariantonietta Fiore, Dipartimento di Economia, Universita degli Studi di Foggia, Italy.
