As part of the Hessian State Wine and Sparkling Wine Awards on November 15, 2025, at Kloster Eberbach, the university winery presented a special series of selected Pinot Noirs from the 1999, 2005, 2015, 2018, and 2024 vintages. The exclusive vertical tasting drew a large crowd and generated considerable excitement.

In the historic Laiendormitorium, guests took the opportunity to taste these characterful wines and engage in in-depth discussions about the development of each vintage. The impressive range of Pinot Noirs impressed attendees with its maturity, finesse, and quality and was met with consistently positive feedback.

With its presentation, Hochschule Geiesenheim University contributed successfully to a day of enjoyment shaped by outstanding wines, personal conversations with winemakers, and Hessian specialties, all set within the unique atmosphere of the monastery.
