Lecturers and staff from all fields of higher education may be supported for a training period at an ERASMUS partner university or in a European company or institution active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training or youth.

In addition to the further education of the participant, the aim is to strengthen the internationalisation of Hochschule Geisenheim University through the exchange of experience within the European Higher Education Area and the consolidation of ERASMUS partnerships.

Who is funded?

Individually organized stays within the scope of a so-called job shadowing (observation). This should be carried out in a department at the partner university or in the company that corresponds to or is comparable to one's own area of responsibility. An individual program is determined in advance.

The stay for the purpose of further education and training can last from a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 2 months.

How high is the financial support?

Financial support is provided in accordance with the lump sums specified by the EU.

Stays of 2 - 5 days are supported as far as possible in such a way that the costs according to Hess. travel expense law are covered.

Longer stays are supported according to available funds (financial support from Erasmus+ funds of the EU in combination with Zero Grant support)

Applications for personnel mobility must be discussed in advance with the respective management!
