Hochschule Geisenheim University is managed by a President's Council made up of the President, both Vice-Presidents and the Chancellor. The President's Council works closely with the University Senate, the University Council and other bodies, in the further development of the university. It also makes final decisions relating to finances, personnel, organization and administration, and reports annually to the County of Hesse.
The President's Council (University Management) is the highest self-governing body of the university and is responsible for policy making which is not covered by other legal bodies. It is made up of the President, both Vice-Presidents and the Chancellor, and cooperates with the University Council in coordinating and promoting the internal and external development of the university.
The President's Council also works closely with the University Senate, the Extended President's Council and the University Council.
