Anyone interested in a particular subject can be admitted as an auditing student (Gasthörer), assuming that you have the capacity and educational background to follow the lectures‘ content. We especially welcome people already working on a job who wish to expand their knowledge. Proof of a university entrance qualification according to § 61 Hessian Higher Education Act is not necessary.
To be admitted as an auditing student at Hochschule Geisenheim University in the summer semester 2024, you need to fill in the application and send it to the Admissions Office between April 1, 2024 and April 1, 2024.
Check the semester’s timetable for classes you wish to attend, and contact the teachers for written approval. Then enter the class title on the application and send the completed and signed form to the Admissions Office along with the teacher's written confirmation and proof that you have paid the auditing student fee. Please note: Auditing students will be admitted for one semester. You are allowed to attend the classes listed in your application but you are not entitled to take any exams.
