Application Deadline for Higher Semester Bachelor

Admission to a higher semester is possible for both summer and winter semesters. Please note that all degree programs at Hochschule Geisenheim University require a pre-study internship in the respective department, except for the two degree programs Food Logistics and Management B.Sc. and Food Safety B.Sc. Further information can be found on the page of the respective degree program.

In order to apply for admission to a higher semester for the winter semester 2024/25, you must submit your application documents to the Admissions Office by September 27, 2024, at the latest.

Applications to a higher semester for the degree programm Landscape Architecture B.Eng. must be received by the admissions office no later than September 1, 2024.

Please note that international students must submit their application for the winter semester 2024/25 via uni-assist by September 1, 2024.

Application Deadline for Master Degree Programs

Anyone wishing to enrol in a Master's degree program at Hochschule Geisenheim University must meet the requirements of the degree program and apply in due time and form. You can also apply to one of the cooperating universities. Please note that the application deadline may vary from university to university.

Please note that international students must submit their application for the winter semester 2024/25 via uni-assist by September 1, 2024.

Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning (M.Sc.): first and higher semester: September 27, 2024.

Food Safety (M.Sc.): Applications for a first and higher semester will be accepted for the summer semester until August 1, 2024.

Horticultural Science (M.Sc.), first and higher semester: September 27, 2024.

Applicants wishing to apply for a place on the Master's degree programs Oenology M.Sc., Wine Business M.Sc. and Beverage Technology M.Sc. should contact our cooperation partner Justus-Liebig University Giessen.

Applications for M.Eng. UMSB - Environmental Management and Urban Planning in Metropolitan Areas, which is offered in cooperation with the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, should be sent to the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.

Applications for the EuroMaster's program Vinifera should be submitted via the coordinating institution of the Vinifera consortium, Montpellier SupAgro www.vinifera-euromaster.eu.

For the double-degree Master's program VITIS-VINUM, apply to the University of Turin or to the University of Udine, where the first year of study is conducted in Italian.

Applications for the Master's degree program in Viticulture, Oenology and Wine Business (WÖW) should be sent to the coordinating institution, BOKU Vienna.

    Dates and deadlines apply to applicants with a German university entrance certificate.

    Applications must be made via the online portal. Please read all the information here carefully. It is in your own interest to submit applications to the Admissions Office in good time, as missing documents can then be submitted. Any applications submitted close to the deadline must be complete.
