The 2022 Founders‘ Award will be presented in three categories. We are looking for innovative, sustainable and promising concepts and business models from (prospective) founders. The start-up projects should address ecological, innovative or social issues. Geisenheim students, staff members and graduates of all degree programs are also invited to submit their projects, along with members of EBS University and future entrepreneurs from the Rheingau Taunus District.
The award will be presented on November 29, 2022 in the following categories:
- Best business idea from students and staff of Hochschule Geisenheim University and EBS University,
- Best start-up from students, alumni or staff of both universities,
- Best start-up from the Rheingau Taunus District.
The Rheingau Founders‘ Award helps to boost public awareness and offers you the chance to become part of a network of investors. In addition, the award winners will receive a prize money totaling €9,000 for the best three projects in each category (1st place €1,500, 2nd place €1,000, 3rd place €500). If desired, Gründungsfabrik Rheingau will also provide a free co-working space in Geisenheim for three months. In addition, all winners will receive a wildcard to join a founders’ program (offered by Gründungsfabrik Rheingau) to refine their business ideas.
