The two Geisenheim researchers Prof. Dr. Simone Loose and Dr. Signe Nelgen from the Department of Wine and Beverage Business joined the Adelaide Wine Economics Research Centre of the University of Adelaide (UoA) as Research Affiliates. Thereby Geisenheim joined the internationally unique research network with more than 20 international affiliates from Australia, France, USA, Spain, Italy, South Africa and Belgium. In September, the Executive Director Prof. Kym Anderson, Assoc. Prof. Armando Corsi, the new team leader of Wine Business, and the Geisenheim researchers met virtually and agreed to pursue a formal collaboration agreement between UoA and Hochschule Geisenheim University. One of the aims is to jointly supervise PhD students.
