As part of the "International Horticulture" module, a lecture was held by Dr. Wolfram Spreer, a scientist currently working at the well-known World of Vegetable Center in Hyderabad, Indien, and whose area of expertise is Agricultural Technology in the Tropics & Sub-Tropics. The lecture also served as a pilot in the summer semester for the use of webinars at Hochschule Geisenheim University. 

In a weekly live connection from Hyderabad, 29 students from the "Horticulture" and "Food Safety" degree programs as well as guest students from the TU Bingen received insights into the special charcteristics of tropical and sub-tropical horticulture.
