The President’s Council of Hochschule Geisenheim University urges everyone to remain calm in the face of the current crisis and to treat the situation and each other with due consideration. The information provided by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the federal government's central institution for monitoring and preventing the spread of infectious diseases, serves as the basis for assessing the situation and making recommendations.

Message from the President regarding the Corona Virus (LIV)

Dear Students and Colleagues,

There are several points, the crises team would like to draw your attention to:

  • A 14-day transitional arrangement has come into effect to extend the current Covid-19 regulations. So far, no changes are applicable for the university.
  • Wearing standard masks in buildings is still mandatory
  • The number of self-tests available for staff members is still sufficient until the end of April and testing should be performed on a regular basis.
