Message from the President Regarding the Coronavirus (XXXI)

[Translate to English:]
Wearing a mask is mandatory in the areas marked in red.

Dear international students,

  • the decisions made by the federal and state governments with respect to covid-19 have caused a lot of insecurity. Based on the available information and as a result of the last meeting of the crisis team, please find some hints below:
  • Courses previously planned on premise will take place. This applies to those courses currently conceived to be conducted until the beginning of the next semester (summer). Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and the Arts supports the so-called hybrid semester. Yet, we all know, that plans are just that – plans! And these plans may be changed again.
  • Wearing masks is again mandatory also OUTDOORS! for the area of the central campus, administration building, auditorium, central lecture hall complex and cafeteria, ZIG laboratory and Villa Monrepos until further notice. Please obey these rules. They will be extended to the main axes crossing the campus and will also apply to visitors.
  • Our previously ordered self-tests still have not arrived. This demonstrates the current shortcomings in the supply chain.

Have a nice Easter holiday, keep steadfast and stay healthy!

Hans R. Schultz
