Message from the President regarding the Corona Virus (LVIII) – Updated Instructions issued by the State of Hesse

Dear Colleagues,

The Federal State of Hesse has updated its instructions for handling the corona virus: „Dienstanweisung zum Umgang mit dem Corona-Virus im Geschäftsbereich des Hessischen Ministeriums für Wissenschaft und Kunst vom 6. April 2022“ (link in German)

The updated instructions include a paragraph with information for employees who take care of children and relatives because child sick pay and the entitlement to compensation under the Infection Protection Act has been extended until September 23, 2022. In addition, the so-called "care regulation pursuant to § 9 PflegeZG" has also been extended until June 30, 2022.
