The Academic Bicycle Challenge (ABC) is the international bicycle competition where universities of applied science around the world compete for the highest distance cycled. This year we want to be at the top which means we need you!
For the month of JUNE we want you to cycle as much as possible and thereby collect kilometers for our university.
Whether it’s on your way to university or during your free time, all recorded trips count – everywhere. In the end it is counted per person, which means that our university’s outcome will be a lot more dependent on the individual (which is you) than those of other universities like the Uni Frankfurt.
How it works: Install the Naviki-App on your phone; in the settings, register yourself as a participant in the ABC, join a team or start your very own. Once that is done, you only need to cycle as much as possible and collect the kilometers. You collect for yourself, your team, your study program and your university! You can check the progress immediately on tables on the app and see who is leading the challenge.
Every student and member of staff can take part.
The ABC starts onJune 1 and runs until 31. Other universities all over the world are also taking part for 30 days, sometime between April and November. This challenge will be an annual event.
