The forum was kicked off by an online presentation on “flipped or inverted classrooms” given by Prof. Dr. Spannagel. Teachers and staff members had the chance to learn more about this innovative teaching strategy and put new inspirations into practice in the following workshop.
In the afternoon, the agenda featured a workshop held by Bianca Sievert, job coach and expert for university didactics, which invited teachers to reflect upon their own teaching and identify individual skills.
Througout the day, teachers used the occasion to meet and exchange experience with other colleagues. In addition, a poster presentation was set up in the foyer which highlighted the current work of the AG Hochschuldidaktik (working group focusing on university didactics) and other priorities in this context. Each poster was presented by mentor and provided a perfect setting for targeted networking.
The day was rounded off with the presentation of the 2022 Teaching Award. In total, 12 courses were nominated. Based on the nominations and a description of the teaching concept submitted by the nominees, the Awards Committee selected three winners.
