BSc Viticulture & Enology


The specialty of this degree course lies in its practical orientation in the areas of Viticulture (crop management and cultivation techniques, soil management, phytomedicine) and Enology (processing technology, wine and sparkling wine production techniques, sensory evaluation) as well as Business and Marketing.

Scientific and technical competencies are increased over 6 semesters, including 2 practical periods at home and abroad.

We also offer various possibilities for combining an apprenticeship in viticulture with an academic degree course, for people who are interested in the flexibility of this combination (> Dualer Einstieg ins Studium Weinbau/Oenologie).

Content from the Viticulture degree course can count towards an apprenticeship, after consultation with the Rhineland Palatinate Chamber of Agriculture.
